The Model 4013 extensometer meets the requirements of ASTM D5656 for measuring the strain properties of an adhesive in shear. It uses different contact point spacing compared to the extensometer shown in D5656. This makes it much easier to mount and eliminates the slippage problems associated with the design shown in the ASTM standard. The Model 4013 is available with all of Epsilon’s temperature configurations. It has a 3.0 mm (0.12 inches) full scale measuring range. The conical point contacts included with the extensometer are made from tungsten carbide.The Model 4013 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. Most often they are connected to a test machine controller. The signal conditioning electronics for the extensometer is typically included with the test machine controller or may often be added. In this case the extensometer is shipped with the proper connector and wiring to plug directly into the electronics. For systems lacking the required electronics, Epsilon can provide a variety of solutions, allowing the extensometer output to be connected to data acquisition boards, chart recorders or other equipment.

MMR-6500
The MMR-6500 digital meter is designed for measuring low resistances with a stabilised current of up to 100 A. The use of test clamps enables the safe measurement of breakers (high-, medium- and lowvoltage), isolators and other components earthed on both sides. The MMR-6500 series meters are equipped with a unique module in their class that measures inductive components which have a current of up to 10 A, enabling the winding resistance of motors, transformers and other inductive components to be measured. Another useful function is the temperature measurement and the automatic compensation of results with relation to the measured temperature or temperature set by the user. The system is completed with a recorder function. This model is for diametral strain measurement with furnace and induction heating systems. Quartz rods and water-cooling allow the unit to be used for high temperature testing of metals, ceramics and composites. With induction heating, this model often can be used without water-cooling. When used in furnaces, the extensometer is often mounted directly to the furnace side cut-out. Optional load frame mounting brackets are available for supporting the extensometer in cases where furnace mounting is not possible. These COD gages mount on a water-cooled bracket, which is mounted on the furnace side cut-out or with optional load frame support brackets. The standard temperature version (to 1200℃) is supplied with high purity alumina rods. The high temperature option is furnished with alpha grade silicon carbide rods. Rods are made to order to the length required for your furnace. Mounting brackets may be integrated with the furnace cut-out. Epsilon can also provide optional load frame mounting brackets to fit your test frame. Contact edges on the test sample should be somewhat rounded (not sharp knife edges) for best performance with this model. Multifunction calibrator MC142 is a precision voltage, current and power calibration source serving as a measurement standard in calibration laboratories and production lines; where verification of electrical measurement equipment & sensors is required. It can be used for calibration and adjustment of meters measuring voltage, current, power, resistance, capacitance and frequency. Internal harmonic and non-harmonic signals make it possible to test electrical performance of meters using signals with various crest factors.
