Modern Prepolarized Precision Condenser Microphones & Preamplifiers
Modern prepolarized microphones are designed with newer technology than traditional externally polarized microphones. Prepolarized microphones have many advantages over the externally polarized models. They use ICP® power circuitry invented for sensors by PCB®. By applying a polymer coating to the top of the backplate and embedding a charge on it, expensive 200V power supplies can be eliminated and 2-20 mA constant current supplies or signal conditioners can be used as the power source.

Dynamic Signal Analyzer & Data Recorder

The Spider-20 series of products are compact yet powerful data acquisition and dynamic measurement systems. These units provide four 24-bit precise high-fidelity input channels, and a unique software-selectable tachometer-input/signal-source output channel. Each input is individually programmable to accept AC or DC voltage or output from an IEPE (ICP) sensor with built-in electronics. Input channels can be programmed to sample up to a rate of 256 kHz. The Spider-20E is a small scale (5 ⁵/16 x 4 ⁵/16 x 1 ⁵/16 inch) device weighing only 18 ounces. This handheld unit features three push-button controls and five LED status indicators. This little powerhouse can run over 6 hours on its internal rechargeable battery which can be replaced in the field with a backup battery.

High Temperature ICP® Accelerometers
PCB® offers specially designed and tested ICP® accelerometers for conducting vibration and shock measurements under demanding environmental conditions of up to 356 °F (180 °C). These sensors combine proven quartz and ceramic shear sensing technology with specialized, built-in microelectronic signal conditioning circuitry to achieve dependable operation in extreme temperatures and through repetitive temperature cycling. Laser-welded, hermetically sealed, lightweight titanium or stainless steel housings offer further protection from the environment. Prior to shipment, each sensor undergoes a battery of tests to ensure survivability for its intended use. Such tests include temperature soak at elevated temperatures, temperature cycling, and exposure to highly accelerated screening procedures with hydraulically actuated shakers.

The SDXHPLD system combines the proven ASX‑560 autosampler with a novel vortex mixing dilution accessory. The system dilutes in the same way you do by hand: volume-to-volume dilution, using a highly accurate syringe pump. But it also goes an additional step to vortex mix the resulting dilution prior to sample introduction to ICP and ICP-MS.The SDX employs vortex mixing to promote homogenization of a sample to ensure accurate and precise analysis following dilution. The variety of sample matrices submitted for trace element analysis necessitates the need for mixing. Structural Test ICP® Accelerometers
Conventional structural test data systems use few to several hundred sensors. Cables bundles can be complex and confusing resulting in setup errors. Sensors with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) allow for an internal sensor digital chip to store sensor information.
