Together these standards provide the deterministic and redundant communications protocol required for Vehicle System (Flight Control) Networks. Flexible Rope-Type Current Probe
RCT1A and RCT5A
These probes have great bandwidth ensuring accurate measurement even with harmonically distorted wave shapes. For all RCT1A/RCT models, a NIST, NAVLAP, NPL (UKAS) factory traceable calibration certificate and certificate of conformance is supplied. UL/CSA approved materials are used throughout. Three phase and single phase flexible AC current sensors (rope sensors) are available for fast installation in confined spaces, eliminating the need for Electrical Supply Shutdown. Available outputs are 1A @ 2.5VA and 5A @ 0.5VA, this means long cable lengths from current sensor to signal conditioner allow these low VA ratings to be used, even when feeder cable to energy meter distances are large (up to 98 feet / 30 meters)

Hawk® EMS
The Hawk® EMS is a wall or tripod-mounted radiation monitoring and alarm system designed for use with the Hawk® Radius dual sensor radiation probe. Each EMS System comes with a Hawk Radius Probe. The system is extremely energy efficient and can run for weeks on an internal 9 volt back-up battery if power fails. It is well suited for operating on a small solar panel, which is an optional accessory. The Hawk® EMS features two displays that show the radiation levels measured by each of the probe’s two detectors: the weatherized “pancake-style” Geiger-Mueller tube — which measures alpha (if configured for it), beta, low energy gamma, and x-radiation — and the energy-compensated gamma tube which measures penetrating gamma dose rate. The probe can be mounted next to the EMS system or outdoors, or in adjacent rooms on cables up to 100 ft in length. Standard cable is 3 meters in length. Optional signal booster can support cable lengths longer than 100 feet. Optionally the system can also be configured to share data on ethernet or wireless networks.

Various gain stages are summed together to best approximate the inverse frequency response of the cable. Logic circuitry controls the gain functions of the individual stages so that the lowest noise can be achieved at short-to-medium cable lengths. The Model 10 consists of a one meter length of flexible 50 ohm coaxial cable terminated by a carefully trimmed SMA on one end and by a miniature, high speed 50 ohm connector, specially developed to receive Model 10 replaceable coaxial probe tips, on the other. The 50 ohm coaxial cable was custom designed for Model 10 to be high speed, yet very flexible, so that moving the cable would not disturb the probe points.

The Cable Length Meter CLM1 will allow the accurate measurement of severed or open/short-circuit CCTV coaxial cable. For use with RG59 (75Ω) and RG58 (50Ω) or equivalent coaxial cable, this meter provides a direct readout in metres of the length of an unterminated run of coaxial cable with a resolution of 2-3 metres. A single range of 2.5 to 400 metres on a 4 digit LCD display is provided with automatic indication of open circuit and short circuit conductors. By this means, the location of a short circuit or open circuit in cable runs of up to 800 metres may be found.
