Backplane Test System
402HV
Our model 402HV is the result of 25 years of high voltage / high pin count test systems experience. We produced our first high voltage system back in 1985. It was programmable up to 600 volts / 600 Mohms and had over 49,000 test points. It could test a 5k point board in less that 15 seconds. Since then we have built hundreds of high voltage test systems, with our highest voltage system capable of testing up to 2000 Volts DC / 1500 Volts AC. (One of our 600 volt systems, built in 1986 is still in operation testing boards for a defense contractor.)

Switch Modules - 32 Single Pole Relays Arranged as a 16x2 Matrix

This module has 32 single pole relays arranged as a 16x2 matrix as shown in the figure to the left. The matrix may be operated and wired individually for up to 16 16x2's per chassis, or jumpered to the backplane to form up to a 256x2 matrix. It is available with Type S or M reed relays for high speed, long life application. These modules are usually used for 2 wire testing where high and low meter leads must be switched between any two points. Often used for 2 wire LCR meter measurements, cable testing, or open / short testing in a variety of applications.

Eurocard Based Systems
With over 100K Rittal brand components, Pixus has virtually unlimited configurations of chassis platforms for embedded computing. Typical plug-in modules are 3U or 6U with a 160mm depth. OpenVPX, CompactPCI Serial, CompactPCI, VME, and VME64x are open standard backplane architectures commonly used in 19" rack-mount Eurocard enclosure systems. (For OpenVPX products, see the Pixus OpenVPX section.) Enclosures are available to hold these boards in front-to-rear, bottom-to-top, and for 6U and 8U boards there is side-to-side cooling options. The chassis can come with or without integrated fan trays or with redundant push-pull cooling. EMC versions are also standard.
