The PA2100 is a PC controlled bench top power analyzer, allowing several electrical power measurements to be taken simultaneously during testing - from just one set of input connections. The PA2100's power measurement ability is a must in research and development, manufacturing and required for certification and traceability of manufactured goods. In addition to power measurements, apparent power (VA), harmonics, voltage, current, power factor can all be viewed and stored with ease. The PA2100 wattmeter simply connects between the ac supply and the load, various current transformer options allow measurement with any size of current from 10mA to 10000A. RF One Power Meter
The RF One Power Meter is a very versatile instrument covering both analog and digital carriers in an extremely wide frequency range from 30MHz to 6GHz. The RF One is capable of measuring forward and reflected power in the range of a few milliwatts up to 500 Watts. The internal operating system controls measurement, display and the I/Os allowing serial communication to PC, USB to memory stick and USB Serial communication. The I/O options are used to write plots to either memory sticks or to a connected PC, the I/Os can also be used to operate the instrument, giving commands and receiving data. For documentation reference the instrument has a real time clock. Multilayer menus are used to setup and control the operation of parameters. The RF One instrument is small, handy and light weight battery operated with more than 3 hours of continuous operation on the internal NiMh cells. But, this is not the best way to do it since a lightly-loaded motor doesn't use the electricity very efficiently. RF Milliwatt Meters
Type NDB-2 and NDB-3
National RF’s Type NDB-2 and NDB-3 RF Milliwatt Meters are affordable pieces of test equipment for both the RF laboratory and the home experimenter. Both provide a digital reading of RF power in dB reference 1 milliwatt of power into a 50 ohm load (i.e. 0 dBm). The circuitry consists of a low noise logarithmic amplifier that drives a digital A/D converting meter circuit. The lowest power levels that can be read are about –73 dBm (approximately 40 microvolts or .00000003 milliwatts). The maximum power input should not exceed 10 milliwatts (+10 dBm or .010 watts) when inputed without attenuation. An internal attenuator is provided and described in the next section.

The Kepco HSP series provides mission critical power. HSP comprises a group of twelve models, eight 1000 watt power supplies with outputs from 3.3 volts to 125 volts and four 1500 watt power supplies with outputs from 24 volts to 125 volts. All models feature current-sharing for parallel redundant N+1 operation. Models with the or-ing diode, option R, are capable of hot swapping when plugged into Kepco¹s RA 60 series rack adapter. Models with a digital meter, option M, are also available (see photo, right). A mechanical keying scheme allows the user to define which power supply will plug into a specified slot in the housing. Dummy load is capable of dissipating four times the legal limit 6 kW for 2 minutes and legal limit 1500 watts key down, forever. It covers the 160 meter to 6 meter bands (actually 1 Mhz-60 MHz continuously). It is a dry dummy load intended for testing amplifiers and station conditions. Unlike a power meter that measures average or instantaneous Watts or Joules of the overall laser beam, knowing how the power is distributed within the beam is equally as important.
