HV Enclosures with Integrated Safety Test
The HV test hood according to Performance Level e (ISO 13849-1), developed by us according to the EN50191 standard (erection and operation of fixed and temporary electrical test installations), offers the highest safety for the operator. The large test chamber is enclosed with a hood made of sturdy, highly insulating and transparent plastic. During the test, there is a clear view of the test specimen. A signal light visually indicates safe opening when the light is “green”. “Red light” symbolises danger, the hood cannot be opened due to the safety interlock. The safety switch also ensures that the hood cannot be opened during the test. This means that the test hood fulfils all the required specifications for compulsory contact protection.

Sound Level Indicators
A sound level meter is a measuring instrument used to assess noise or sound levels by measuring sound pressure. Often referred to as a sound pressure level (SPL) meter, decibel (dB) meter, noise meter or noise dosimeter, a sound level meter uses a microphone to capture sound. The sound is then evaluated within the sound level meter and acoustic measurement values are shown on the display of the sound level meter. The most common unit of acoustic measurement for sound is the decibel (dB); however, some sound level meter devices also determine the equivalent continuous sound level (Leq) and other acoustic parameters. With a portable sound level meter, industrial hygiene and workplace safety professionals can measure sound levels in multiple locations to ensure environmental conditions fall within recommended exposure limits (RELs). Some sound level meter devices can be permanently installed for continuous monitoring of sound levels at a work or job site.An important attribute to consider when searching for a suitable sound level meter is its type or class. The type or class of a sound level meter defines the device's accuracy as per American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidelines. Typically, "type" is the grade according to the ANSI S1.4 standard, whereas "class" is the grade according to the IEC 61672 standard. There are two types or classes assigned to sound level meters: type 1 / class 1 or type 2 / class 2. For assessing noise in basic industrial, commercial, educational, recreational or residential applications, a type 2 / class 2 sound level meter usually will suffice. For precision-grade assessments often made in a laboratory, a type 1 / class 1 sound level meter primarily is used. The Model 300-series magnetizers are designed to handle a variety of magnetizing applications and materials, from small Alnico parts to large blocks of neodymium-iron. Each of these magnetizers feature patented ECS (Electronic Capacitance Switching) technology, which allows the user to change the capacitance of the unit through the front panel. By setting the charging voltage and capacitance of the magnetizer properly, the user can then scale the output energy of the unit to match the magnetizing fixture being used. The 300-series magnetizers also includes a peak current meter, which automatically captures the peak current of the magnetizing pulse once it occurs. A safety circuit internally discharges the capacitor banks if mains power is removed from the magnetizer or if the cabinet is opened during operation. When connected to a suitable magnetizing fixture, the magnetizer is able to disable its front panel controls if the fixture overheats. Other features include a lockout keyswitch and a current sense output jack (this connects to an oscilliscope for viewing of the magnetizing pulse). All 300-series magnetizers can be modified for computer control, photocell trigger, or autocharge operation.
