Wireless In-Circuit Test Fixtures
Higher density more complex circuit boards complicate testing requirements while smaller more tightly spaced test pads create a wiring challenge for the fixture fabricators, test engineers and maintenance personnel. Wireless fixtures solve the challenges associated with the nest of wires found in standard long wire fixtures. Wireless fixtures replace the “nest” of wires with copper traces on a multilayered printed circuit board called a Translator Board or T-Board®. Circuit Check’s wireless fixture technologies reduce test program debug and maintenance times while easing the ECO process. The RC (Reverberation Chamber) measurement method exhibits much competitive superiority over the AC (Anechoic Chamber) method and TEM Cell method, such as low cost, enhanced test repeatability, a more realistic test environment, and easily achieved high-field environment. The application of the RC for performing EMC testing was first proposed by H. A. Mendes in 1968. In the recent IEC 61000-4-21 standard, the importance of EMC testing using RCs as an alternative measurement technique has been recognized.

The AMIC-30 insulation tester is a small portable meter designed to measure insulation resistance in electrical and telecommunications installations, cables, motors, transformers and other equipment. The test voltage can be programmed in steps from 10 V to 1000 V. The instrument can measure both insulation resistance over a wide range (0,1kΩ...100GΩ), and insulation leakage current, capacitance and other parameters. All test results can be stored in the internal memory and sent to a computer via the included wireless USB receiver. The meters are supplied with rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries.

The MMR-6500 digital meter is designed for measuring low resistances with a stabilised current of up to 100 A. The use of test clamps enables the safe measurement of breakers (high-, medium- and lowvoltage), isolators and other components earthed on both sides. The MMR-6500 series meters are equipped with a unique module in their class that measures inductive components which have a current of up to 10 A, enabling the winding resistance of motors, transformers and other inductive components to be measured. Another useful function is the temperature measurement and the automatic compensation of results with relation to the measured temperature or temperature set by the user. The system is completed with a recorder function. Special measuring algorithms and additional functions allow an appropriate measuring method to be chosen depending on the measured component and measurement conditions, thus, widening the application areas of the meter.
