Event Detectors
105/106 Series
The 105/106 Series Event Detectors are the most versatile Event Detectors in the product line. These Event Detectors monitor the electrical resistance of up to 128 simple continuity loops, each comprised of single or multiple specimens under test. Each test specimen is continuously monitored while a selectable DC sense current is passed through each channel test-loop; resistance changes exceeding the selected threshold are recorded as an event. Minimum Event Duration, Channel Current, and Threshold Voltage settings can all be independently configured. 105 and 106 Series instruments are electrically identical, with the difference simply that the 105 offers four, 32-channel board slots and the 106 offers only one. Thus the 128-105 is equivalent to four 32-106 Event Detectors.

Event Analyzer
The SIGNAL Event Analyzer represents a breakthrough in the analysis of repetitive acoustic events as diverse as field recordings of birdsong, laboratory ultrasonic rodent vocalizations, and industrial monitoring of rotating machinery. Event Detector
The Event Detector automatically extracts sound events from an entire sound file according to the user's event specifications. The user digitizes sound data into a continuous sound file, then configures the Event Detector for the events of interest. Detection is based on spectral, temporal, and amplitude criteria. The detector scans the entire file, identifying the desired events and extracting them to individual sound files or measuring their parameters. Detected events can be immediately analyzed in SIGNAL to measure, count, compare, classify, time-stamp, and store sound events and sound parameters. Event Based Image Sensors

Event-based Vision Sensors (EVS) help alleviate this issue by only sending data from pixels who have detected a change in intensity. This allows them to minimize the volume of data that is transmitted over the sensor’s data bus while minimizing the processing resources need to analyze the image. On top of this, individual pixel autonomously responds to illuminance changes allowing the sensor to detect small and/or high frequency changes with lower bandwidth requirements.
