Ethernet To Parallel Digital Interface Boards
ICS's Ethernet Parallel Digital Interface boards provide the user with a wide range of IO signals that can be user configured to match virtually any application. These Ethernet boards are available with high power relay driver boards and with optional firmware designed to simplify switching applications. The 80x3 boards have high-power TTL signals that can sink 48 mA and source 24 mA. Pullup resistors make it easy to interface with CMOS logic and to sense contact closures. User configures data byte direction and polarity. The 80x3 boards are VXI-11 compliant for operation with NI or Agilent VISA, LabVIEW and VEE and support raw socket connections. The Remote Trigger Module 3, or RTM3 3, is a new generation of impact trigger device. It is designed to time synchronize a single seismic source unit with multiple seismic recorders. It can also be used to synchronize multiple seismic recorders. The RTM3 units use an internal high accuracy oscillator that is synchronized to GPS timing information. Each RTM3 unit requires an external GPS receiver with valid satellite information to synchronize the internal clock. Once the internal clock is synchronized the RTM3 can be used without any GPS signal for up to 10 minutes.

Analog Input Products
Analog input boards are useful for measuring variably changing conditions in the real world. When we want to measure these variably changing conditions, we need analog inputs to convert these changing real world conditions to changing electrical quantities. For example, monitoring the temperature inside a wood kiln, or the water pressure on the output of a pump, or the heart rate of a medical patient. In each of these cases, you can use one of our analog input devices to convert the electrical data from a sensor or transducer into binary data that can then be used by your computer. The device that converts this data is known as an analog to digital converter (abbreviated ADC, A/D, or A to D). An analog input is a measurable electrical signal with a defined range. The analog input changes continuously in a definable manner in relation to the measured property. This data is very useful for process monitoring, process control, or simple monitoring / data collection and acquisition. Thorlabs' Optical Spectrum Analyzers (OSAs) perform highly accurate spectral measurements. Compatible with fiber-coupled and free-space light sources, these compact benchtop instruments suit a wide variety of applications, such as analyzing the spectrum of a telecom signal, resolving the Fabry-Perot modes of a gain chip, and identifying gas absorption lines. Many commonly available OSAs use grating-based monochromators, which have slow acquisition times due to the need to mechanically scan the grating and average out noise at each wavelength. Thorlabs' OSAs acquire the spectrum via a Fourier transform using a scanning Michelson interferometer in a push/pull configuration. This approach dramatically improves the acquisition time, enables a high-precision wavelength meter mode with 7 significant figures and ±1 part-per-million accuracy, and allows the included software to provide robust statistical analysis of the acquired spectra, as explained in the Design tab.
