Small Aperture Fiber-Optic Probes
Small-aperture Fiber-optic Probes are best for testing closely-spaced LEDs. With an aperture of 1mm, and a diameter of 1.2mm/0.050 inches, they can test LEDs spaced as close as 0.050 inches on center. Small-aperture Fiber-optic Probes are available with straight or right-angle stainless-steel tips as shown below. This allows for precise customization to your mechanical constraints.

Acoustic Compound Protection System
ACOMPRIS
Static kind of infrastructure is often vulnerable to attacks by either small arms fire (SAF) or mortars. The objects could be for instance a military forward operating base, an embassy or a post from the United Nations. As attacks may occur all the time, persistent and affordable protection is required. Especially when inhibited by civilians, ease of operations use and maintenance become more important. Often installed in remote places far away from the electricity grid, power consumption is an issue.

Vehicle Based Gunshot Localisation
ACLOGUS
Incoming direct fire poses a threat to the vehicle and, when manned, to its crew. Traditional acoustic systems to detect and localize incoming Small Arms Fire do not work when the vehicle is driving, which is in essence the key to survive on the battlefield in the first place.

Fire Suppression/Detection
Dexter's sensitive yet rugged fire detectors, or fire sensors, serve as the foundation of US combat fire suppression systems on combat aircraft and ground vehicles ranging from the HUMVEE to the Abraham's Tank. Our fire sensors consume low energy, making them the premier safety component on battery-powered as well as hot-wired systems. We like to call them "the eye that never sleeps." How fast are they? Fast enough to race the fire caused by a rocket hitting a fuel tank and win, triggering fire suppression on the spot to help protect soldier and pilot alike. Rugged missions require rugged equipment. Intensive MIL-STD-883H testing performed by Trialon Corporation, an independent testing facility, confirm that Dexter Research's silicon-based temperature sensor detectors meet the same rugged requirements of 1,000G's for mechanical shock and 30G's in random vibration for which our thin-film detectors are famous. STAR Fire Mk3
The STAR Fire Mk3 is a test and development unit that can emulate, stimulate, debug and validate SpaceFibre enabled equipment. The STAR Fire Mk3 can transmit and receive both SpaceWire and SpaceFibre traffic; it can interconnect SpaceWire equipment to a SpaceFibre network; and it can operate as a SpaceFibre link analyser, capable of unobtrusively capturing and displaying SpaceFibre traffic. MICTOR connectors on the rear of the unit allow decoded SpaceFibre signals to be viewed on an external logic analyser. Integration with external equipment is possible using SMB connectors.

Multispectral Fixed Camera for Early Fire Detection
FH-Series R
The FLIR FH-Series R are ruggedized, multispectral fixed cameras that integrate industry-leading thermal imaging with 4K visible imaging to provide rapid visual verification of hot spots in early fire detection applications. When a hot spot or temperature change is detected, the contactless temperature measurement is sent to the operator through a connected Video Management System (VMS) for instantaneous assessment and deployment of response tactics. Custom scheduling provides security personnel the flexibility to enable and disable alarms depending on business hours and seasonality. Combining the power of thermal hot-spot detection with intelligent vehicle detection, false alarms from hot exhaust pipes can be dramatically reduced.
