Chloride Test System
C-CL-2000
The C-CL-2000 produces results on-site, within minutes that are accurate and comparable to expensive laboratory tests. It measures the electrochemical reaction of a weighted sample placed in an extraction liquid. It automatically shows a temperature compensated reading of percent of chlorides on its digital display. A wide range - from 0.002 to 2% chloride by weight - is covered.

Concrete Measuring and Monitoring System
IQM-Meter
Designed specifically for monitoring and analyzing fresh concrete, the IQM Module is programmed with the required Equivalent Age of the concrete under test. Once this preset maturity number is reached, a visual indicator will flash continuously, providing an effective, automatic indication that the concrete has reached the desired level of maturity.

Resonant Frequency Testing
E-Meter MK II™
Determines resonant frequencies of the three modes of vibration. Material characteristics such as Youngs Modulus of Elasticity, Modulus of Rigidity, Poissons Ratio and Damping Constant can be calculated. Frequencies are automatically scanned in one of four ranges. The system can determine flexural resonance of concrete under accelerated freezing and thawing cycles and aggressive environments.

Determines Presence of Carbonation on Concrete Samples
Carbo Detect System™
Carbo Detect is a simple colored dye field test for detecting carbonation. The single reagent is sprayed on the surface to be checked. The reagent will change to pink in uncarbonated concrete and remain colorless when sprayed on carbonated concrete.

Testing Tensile Strength of Overlays, and Overlayments
James Bond Test ™ MK III
The James Pull Off Adhesion/Bond Tester measures the pull force used to pull a 2? or 3? disc away from the material being tested. This pressure is displayed on a precision gauge and can be related directly to the strength of the adhesion to the surface being tested.

Moisture Master
T-M-170
The James Instruments Moisture Master utilizes the latest electronic technology to measure the quantity of water within its sensing field. The unit has two modes of operation the pin mode, and search mode. In the pin mode, two pins are pushed into the material and a high frequency field is created between these two pins.

Air and Water Permeability in Concrete Both At and Below the Surface
Poroscope
Poroscope Plus measures the time it takes for air to flow into a known volume of a sealed, evacuated chamber in the concrete. While the vacuum reduces from -55 Kpa to -50 Kpa, a measure of air permeability is determined. For water permeability, Poroscope Plus uses the same chamber filled with water, and measures the total time in seconds for a volume of 0.01 ml of water to escape.

Ultrasonic Transducers
Low frequency transducers for ultrasonic testing of concrete and other course grained materials. Shear Wave transducers (pictured above) are used in combination with compressional wave transducers to calculate Poisson's Ratio. The line of general-purpose compressional wave transducers feature robust PZT elements in stainless steel.

Testing Released Water Vapor
Humiditest™ Complete System
The James Instruments Humitest System allows the concrete practitioner to monitor and ensure that a new structure is dry enough to proceed with the next phase of construction. This is especially critical for concrete structures requiring a coating, carpeting or similar floor or covering treatment. Installing such treatments before the concrete is sufficiently dry will typically cause expensive failures in the covering treatment. The only accurate way to ensure that the concrete is sufficiently dry enough to safely avoid expensive re-work is via a bore hole humidity test system, such as the Humitest System
