Direct BNC

Interface board plugs directly into National Instruments 68 pin multifunction and simultaneous sampling DAQ cards (PCI and PXI). First four analog inputs, two analog outputs, and trigger channels are available on BNC connectors (SMA/SMB optional).

Group3 Hall probe
The Group3 Hall probe produces an analog voltage as its output signal, corrected for temperature effects and non-linearities, producing a signal accurate to within 0.05%, from -1 to +1 T, over 10 to 50 deg C. Group3 can offer different field and temperature ranges, and custom probe dimensions.

8 Channel Sample & Hold and Signal Conditioning Board for Group3
All channels provide for voltage division ahead of transient suppression before going into the S&H ICs. Channels that are sampled and held use a common sample and hold pulse that samples while high and holds while low. Jumpers on each S&H chip allow buffering of analog signals where sample and holds are not required. An advantage to the buffers is that it provides a high input impedance for high impedance voltage dividers.

Breadboard to DAQ Converters

VI Control Systems has designed two converter boards that make it easy to connect data acquisition boards to breadboards and allow easy computer control and monitoring of prototyped electronic circuits. The converter boards are 0.8 x 3.5 inches and have silk-screened pin numbers for every pin on the board. The 68-pin SCSI converter can also be used to connect 68-pin SCSI cables to prototype solder boards that have 0.1 inch centers.

VI Control Systems has designed several connector blocks for mating ribbon cables to screw terminals. Our design goal was to make the connector blocks small and inexpensive. Connector blocks are mounted by using 6-32 stand-offs. The connector blocks feature a ground plane that is connected to the mounting screw holes.

Interface board for converting signals on a National Instruments PCI/PXI 6602 timing board to and from fiber optic signals. Bursts, delayed pulses, and frequencies can be generated on outputs. The input channels can be used to measure frequency or period. Digital inputs or outputs can be substituted on channels that are not needed for timing purposes.
