Radio Frequency Scoring Tool
RFST
The Radio Frequency (RF) Scoring Tool (RFST) takes the guess work out of RF environment simulation. During RF environment simulation, the RFST provides clear persistent scoring and recording of the RF simulator’s performance. The RFST digitizes all RF signals in the form of digital Pulse Descriptor Words (PDWs) and associated In-phase/Quadrature (I-Q) data. This massive data stream is recorded for later (Post-Scenario) Analysis. Additionally, the RFST provides a real-time visual display of the accuracy of the RF output, easily visible through straight forward real-time indicators. The post analysis tool set allows an unlimited number of users to simultaneously assess previous RF simulator performance with compelling visual representations. Radio Frequency Cable Tester
RFCT
Textron Systems’ Radio Frequency Cable Tester (RFCT) allows for on-site testing and maintenance for radio frequency (RF) transmission paths within a platform. Using preconfigured databases of sweep parameters and pass/fail criteria, the RFCT quickly determines the status of installed RF cables. The RFCT checks each cable’s performance characteristics to include voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), insertion loss (IL), phase and phase matching. If a cable fails a test, the RFCT automatically determines the distance-to-fault (DTF). With its intuitive touchscreen-based user interface and lightweight, ruggedized packaging, the RFCT is the gold standard for operational-level RF cable testing.

Multi-Spectral UV/Laser Range Stimulator
Phantom™
The Phantom is a long-range laser and ultraviolet (UV) stimulator capable of testing aircraft electro-optical sensor suites up to 5 km. Phantom can operate as an independent laser and/or UV stimulator or can be integrated with our other electro-optical and radio frequency range systems (see GTESS and PRTS). The Phantom provides both a laser threat and a synchronized temporal missile plume signature to stimulate both the aircraft’s laser and missile warning systems. Training aircrew to counter maneuver a Laser Beam Riders (LBR) threat is considered essential to survival and in-air training. The Phantom can be deployed either on a shoulder or tripod mount.
